Out west, they burn a man. Here in Florida, they burn a bike. During Daytona Beach Bike Week, thousands of people descend on the Volusia County Fairgrounds to attend the Burning Bike Festival. Visitors are encouraged to add the names of lost loved ones to a large motorcycle sculpture that’s torched the final Friday of the event. There are also stunt shows, acrobats, fire dancers, live music, and a bikini contest to crown Miss Burning Bike.
